I Am Bad

My beautiful baby boy is sometimes bad. Now that he is on the move, he is finding all kinds of things to get into. And I believe he is going to be a strong-willed child. I know that some of you will say, "He is just a boy." But I don't think this is just a boy thing - I know some pretty strong-willed girls. Harrison gets into trouble for getting into this stuff - every time. He gets swatted or flicked or moved. And he goes right back. It is pretty amazing.

I decided yesterday to get some evidence of his "badness" so everyone can see that I am not exaggerating.

1. The movies. He has just recently discovered that it is fun to pull the movies out. 2. The chord around the lamp. Please ignore the dust on the lamp stand. It is cleaning day today - not yesterday.

3. Random trips to the bathroom.
4. I probably shouldn't count this as bad. He hasn't gotten into the curio cabinet yet, but you can tell he is trying with all his might to figure out how to get in there. He wants, so badly, to get a hold of those figurines. You can see it is his eyes.
5. I usually stop him from getting into the plant before it happens but last night I was cooking dinner and he snuck in. By the time I saw him, it was too late. See the floor. Evidence he had been playing in the dirt.
I have a little decorative thing - it is blocks that spell Faith. He messes with that a lot, but I didn't get a picture of that yesterday. Now you know that I am not making stuff up when I say he is bad. At least some of the time.
