Warm chocolate chip cookies. Hearing people's fond memories of a loved one. Visits with friends. The smell of a dusty farm truck (not dirty, there is a difference). Looking at old pictures. The sound and warmth of a fire in the fireplace. The idea of a dream home. Cute new shoes. The excitement of cheering on the Airedales as they made it to the state finals. Funny former students. Spring flowers blooming. The anticipation of date night with the hubby. Going barefoot on cool grass. The to-do list getting shorter. Having lunch with my daughter at her school.
