A Little of This, A Little of That

I really like my smart phone that I got for Mother's Day, and I use it to take pictures all the time.  The problem...I don't remember to get the pics on the computer.   I have "labored" today to get that taken care of - finally.

Harrison has a theme in his life.   I noticed as I was going through the photos that several of them have something in common.   Can you figure it out?

Jillian and I went to Michael's in the summer and she found this mask.   We didn't buy it (as we have no use for it) but is was pretty cute.
Here is a sweet thing for your day.   Jillian grew up going to visit our babysitter Carole's parents every week.   Granny Ruth would make lunch and she spoiled Jillian like crazy.   Harrison gets to go now.   Another one to spoil.  This summer the kiddos and I went to visit.  Ruth made Jillian's favorite - chicken and dumplings - and Jillian and Harrison helped.   Honestly, J helped and H ate raw dough.
I took them to school with me that last Friday before classes started.   We picked up donuts on the way, so they sat and ate while I tried to get some work done.
The Airedales played their first game on Thursday night.  We played Thursday because we were afraid that Hurricane Isaac was going to be a problem on Friday.   Nathan had left with brother-in-law Matt on a journey to the West, so I took the kids to the ballgame.   We didn't stay too long because it started trying to rain, but we enjoyed it while we were there.  And my Airedales won big.
Sunset at Airedale Stadium.  It was so pretty.
My daughter...Saturday we went out to eat to celebrate my parents' 41st anniversary.   She got dressed and we went to town.   When we got out at the restaurant my mom started laughing.   Jillian had gotten some of Mom's earrings to wear to dinner.   Look closely - diamond studs with jackets.   I almost died.   When someone said they couldn't believe Nanny let her to do that, she said, "I didn't ask!"   We have since had a conversation about not taking jewelry without asking.   Oh, my!
Last night the girls had a dance party.
H woke up this morning at 4:00.   He would not go back to sleep in spite of my many efforts.   We had not been on the road 5 minutes and he was out like a light.
Sorry for the lack of posts lately.   I have no real excuses.   We have been getting back into the swing of things and to be quite honest, thinking of something to write about on the blog just hasn't been a priority.   Hopefully that will change soon.
