I seem to have gone AWOL in terms of the blog. My apologies. We are trying to settle into our routine for school, church, gymnastics, football games, and actually being together as a family (which has begun to include some little homework and reading).
School is going well - for me and for Jillian. I have more students than I have had in a long time (like maybe my first year), but my classes are good and productive. So I really can't complain. Jillian just really seems to love it. She is excited to go and learn and see what is going to happen every day.
We also had some work done on the house. We had the inside painted - the living room, dining and kitchen, our bedroom and the extra bedroom are now painted. We also had the carpets cleaned. We lived in chaos for a little over a week, but now everything is back to normal. And I think I am done with interior home improvements for a while. Or until I come up with something else to do :).
Just a little update to let you know that I have not fallen off the face of the earth. I am present and accounted for - just busy. I would wish for Christmas vacation but that would mean I would have to have all my shopping done. And I am so not ready for that!
