Still Here

I haven't gone away or anything. I have just returned to work and a more normal schedule. And life as been pretty monotonous the last week or so. Obviously that is all about to change. On Wednesday I will begin school. As usual, I am experiencing a mix of dread, excitement, nervousness, and thoughts of Christmas and next summer. On Thursday I will pack up my little one and send her to her first day of school. Can you believe it? Because I surely can't. She has already told me that she is taking her lunch that day - and that she wants PB&J. I think she is more excited than she wants anyone to know. In fact, if you ask, she will say she isn't excited at all. The closer it gets, the less I believe it. So if you think about it, pray for me on Thursday about 7:45. I am going to need it.
