Nine years ago today, I took this man to make me whole
And he has remained right by my side.
He has loved me in spite of my bossiness,
my OCD, and my emotional instability.
We have endured many things and
have become stronger than I ever presumed,
but I look forward to many more years
to get to know him and love him even more.
He is amazing in his stability, his generosity,
and his commitment.
I loved him when I met him because he was willing to work.
I loved him when we married because I witnessed his love
in action everyday and in all the little things.
I loved him when Jillian was born because he demonstrated
such love for her and what an awesome daddy he is.
And I love him today because he is Nathan.
Made for me, to love me, and to make me a better person.
Nine years down - and lots more to go.
