Vacation 2016 - Nashville and Ruby Falls

This time last week we loaded up and headed east.  First stop - Nashville.  Most of the family had not been to the Opryland Hotel so that was our first stop Saturday morning.

From there we visited the Adventure Science Center. The kids really enjoyed this place - although we did lose Harrison for a few minutes in their play/maze area.

My! What big ears you have! This is Jillian listening for termites! She found them. H couldn't sit still long enough to hear them.
I have traveled to a lot of places in Europe. I have seen many, many things, but I have never made it to Greece (it is on my short list for my next trip or the one after that). So we visited the next best thing, I guess. Nashville has a miniature Parthenon.
My kiddos with the big ol' Athena statue. The real one was even bigger!
Sunday morning we left Nashville after meeting up with my cousin Donna and her family Saturday evening. They are renovated a home and we got to walk through that project and have a lovely dinner. We stopped in Chattanooga and visited Ruby Falls. This is a cave that has a waterfall in it. The water cascades down into the cave from nowhere. We had to wait a while to get in and my kids had been together for about 48 hours by this time.  The love just emanates from them, don't you see it?
