A whole, whole bunch has happened. Here is what it looked like on September 25th...
Our big piles of dirt in front and back yards are gone. They brought in several loads of dirt, finished off the road, and bulldozed the yard. It is amazing the difference without the pile of dirt blocking the view of the house.
Here are our little cubbies. The cabinets are stained and the walls are all painted.
More stain (obviously the walls had not been painted at this point).
Our mantel. Our trim guy built that, and we love it. It looks even better now that the brink surrounds it.
The counter tops are in and the tile is all done. The lights are in. Our living area floors will go down this week and hopefully the electrician will finish up, too. I don't have any recent pictures, and I would like to keep the rest under wraps until completion but my husband is apparently in total disagreement with me -as he continues to post pictures and take people over there. I will refrain from stating my honest opinion about that ;).
