I am a Loser, I Know

As you can plainly see, I am still struggling with this blogging thing.   I do have a couple of updates, though.  We have met with a guy who is designing our house plan.   He has drawn up a plan, we have tweaked it, and are in the process of making one more (and hopefully the last) adjustment to it.   Our house has not sold.   We didn't show it at all last week until Saturday - and those people said the rooms were too small.   It is being shown again on Thursday, so I will spend tonight trying to prepare for that.  Harrison has taken a little vacation from us.   Carole is out of town, so he has spent the last couple of days at my parents' house.  He will return tomorrow - and I CANNOT wait.  He is bad, but he is mine.

He loves animals but especially dogs.  We were at the PAC and he loves the Airedale statue although you can't tell by his face that that is true.
He also loves being outside.   If he is in a foul mood, being outside will perk him right up (until you make him come inside).  He also loves balls.   Basketballs, softballs, tennis balls - you name it.
My girl read her million words, so I took her for a treat.
A fake, cheesy grin from a crazy baby boy.
Here is our little piece of the world.   It is 4.39 acres.   The high spot is where our house will sit.   There is a patch of trees to the right.   And there are trees in the back (see below).   It needs some work.  The tree areas are full of thorns and bristles, so we will have to take care of that.   The open area had briars that were as tall as Nathan.   We mowed them down but there is still some clean up that needs to done.

And this is the 2nd round of our house plan.   We have a couple of little things to fix, but then I think we will be satisfied.   It is all exciting and yet nauseating all at the same time.

I will post some Halloween pics soon.  Two posts in one week - hope you can handle it :).
