Vacation 2009

We have made it back home from our Branson vacation. I never dreamed that we could spend a week in Branson and not get really bored. But we did not. We had a really good time, but as usual, I was happy to sleep in my own bed and shower in my own shower with decent water!!!

Some of the activities we enjoyed: We went to Silver Dollar City multiple times. It was great except for the last time - which was a rainy day so not much was accomplished. We saw Up! (in 3-D - a first for me). We rode the Ducks. Jillian loved the quackers the most. She did "drive" the boat while we were on the lake. We played minature golf. We saw Peter Pan and Noah the Musical. We rode in a helicopter. I shopped and Jillian got to swim some. We went through a dinosaur museum and a toy museum. But most importantly, we ate and ate and ate.

Jillian had rainbow dip-n-dots. Let's just say the color of her tongue afterwards is not found anywhere on a rainbow. She proudly showed it off.

We played golf at Pirate's Cove. Here are Jillian and Nathan all "bound" up.

We all got a hole-in-one while we played. But in the end, I beat my husband soundly. It was a great day!

Forget the actual rides at SDC. Jillian likes this train made of wood. It doesn't go anywhere or do anything, but she loves playing on it.

Nathan loves the butterfly ride.

And I love the frog ride. That thing hops like you wouldn't believe.

My beautiful girl on the ladybugs.

We bought ponchos on the day it rained. Jillian is cute, but in that poncho, it was just almost too much. She had an E.T. thing going on, and I really just wanted to squeeze her. This was her posing outside the Christmas store (where we found an ornament that had her name on it!!!)
